A guide to designing an Architectural Masterpiece:
Step 1 – Come up with the original concept design
Step 2 – Explore alternate ideas to the original concept design
Step 3 – Have interns explore alternate ideas to the original concept design
Step 4 – Discard all alternate ideas, summarily, and out of hand
Step 5 – Deny any knowledge of the existence of all alternate ideas
Step 6 – Revisit the orginal concept design
Step 7 – Consider alternate materials for the original concept design
Step 8 – Have interns research alternate materials for the original concept design
Step 9 – Choose board-formed concrete for the original concept design
Step 10 – Remove all railings from the original concept design
Step 11 – Change 35% of all surfaces in the original concept design to glass and/or stainless steel
Step 12 – Have interns build a wooden model of the original concept design
Step 13 – Find a client whose desired project is of a comparable scale to the original concept design
Step 14 – Convince the “client” of the merits of the original concept design
Step 15 – Have interns produce construction documents for the original concept design
